RESULT BASED FINANCING FOR NATIONAL STRATEGIC PLAN FOR HIV (RBF-NSP-HIV) PROJECT / (PEER EDUCATION APPROACH)

Since January 2022, Bamporeze Association is implementing the Result Based Financing for National Strategic Plan for HIV (RBF-NSP-HIV) project with the financial support of Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria through the MOH/RBC as the Principal Recipient (PR) of Global Fund in Rwanda. The project aims at reducing new HIV infection from mother to child, reducing new infections by sexual contact, strengthening the health system and ensuring the well-functioning monitoring and evaluation systems.

The project is implemented in 3 districts namely Musanze and Rulindo districts in the Northern province and Nyaruguru District in the Southern province of the country. The project’s interventions mainly target adolescent girls aged 18-24 years through peer education approach so that its impact can reach further in the targeted communities.
